Trojan Specialty Products will provide replacements of all parts shown to be defective in material or workmanship during a twelve month period from the date of purchase by the original purchaser.

This warranty ONLY covers circumstances where the part has failed due to defects caused by the manufacturing process. Proof of the date of purchase will be required with any request for warranty repair, exchange, or credit.

This warranty does NOT cover if the following have occurred:

  • Product misuse
  • Inappropriate use of tools
  • Lack of maintenance
  • Water pressure use above 60 pounds of pressure per square inch or below 20 pounds of pressure per square inch
  • Defective installation
  • Subjection of non-heated units to freezing temperatures
Damage or water leakage from drinking nipples and water valves, including the 393 pressure valves and the 290 gravity valves, are NOT covered under warranty if caused, but not limited to the following:
  • Water impurities, such as sand, debris from water supply lines
  • Foreign matter, such as dirt, feed, hay, or other particles being allowed to build up in the body of the drinking nipples or valves
  • Use of medications, disinfectants, or harsh cleaning chemicals being pumped through the drinking nipples or valves
  • Weather related issues such as freezing

There is no warranty expressed or implied relating in any way to products used in conjunction with any products manufactured or sold by Trojan Specialty Products.

Trojan Specialty Products shall not be liable for incidental or consequential damages, such as any economic loss, resulting from breach of this written warranty or any implied warranty.

There are no warranties, expressed or implied, which extend beyond those described above.

This warranty does NOT cover if the following have occurred:

The Trojan 66B L.P. Gas Stock Tank Heater and AG-82 Automatic Gas Heater are designed to operate efficiently and economically when properly installed. Damages to, or malfunctions of, the casing or burner assembly are NOT covered under warranty if caused by, but not limited to the following:

  • Low-pressure, non-adjustable, propane regulator featured in the Propane Hookup Kit (included with Trojan 66B L.P. Gas Stock Tank Heater) is not used
  • Water level of the stock tank is allowed to drop below the level required for proper function
  • Crushing or severing of the temperature sensing bulb or the tubing connecting the temperature sensing bulb to the Robertshaw Unitrol
  • Water gathering in the bulb guide of the 66B being allowed to freeze and cause damage to the temperature sensing bulb

Trojan Specialty Products’ line of electric heating options is designed to operate efficiently and economically when properly installed and used according to package instructions. The warranty does NOT cover if the following have occurred:

  • Submersion of electric heaters into water or other liquid
  • Installation instructions are not followed
  • Close proximity of electric heaters to other combustible items or items that easily melt.
  • Application of additional thermostats or other regulatory devices installed with the HotScot Heater

There is no warranty expressed or implied relating in any way to products used in conjunction with any products manufactured or sold by Trojan Specialty Products.
